Owners of four wheel drive trucks are invited to the RULES MEETING to be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds near New Castle, Pennsylvania.  This is the only meeting schedule for the 4x4 truck classes ahead of the formulation of the 2010 season rules with USA-EAST. The goal of these meetings are to develop a fair and balanced set of rules, your input is greatly appreciated.  Owners who are unable to attend this meeting are encouraged to e-mail their thoughts/ideas/concerns to FPPTech@gmail.com

The session will begin at 7:00pm with individual meetings for four classes scheduled as follows:

PRO STOCK DIESEL 4x4:  The meeting has previously been held at Bloomsburg on the Saturday afternoon of the annual Bloomsburg Fair event.  There is NO meeting at Bloomsburg this year.  This is the only meeting for this class.  Owners are asked to come to the meeting with ideas on how to improve this very competitive and entertaining class of competition.

STREET LICENSED DIESEL 4x4:   At this time there is no plan to make any major changes to this class.  Owners are encouraged to attend the meeting to share their ideas with the officials and with each other.

PRO STOCK GASOLINE 4x4:  USA-EAST plans to originate this ‘new’ class for 2010.  A rough draft with tentative class rules has been developed and has been circulated to key owners in the class.  The goal will be to take the top eight to ten trucks from the former 6200lb. ‘open’ class and move them to a new gasoline division with a much larger purse structure.  This is similar to what was done with the Pro Street Diesel trucks three years ago.

STREET LICENSED GASOLINE 4x4:   This class will be significantly changed for 2010.  It will no longer be an ‘open’ class with wide open rules.  The goal will be to produce a class that is just slightly above showroom stock.  USA-EAST is open to suggestions as to how to structure the rules for the class.

RUN WHAT YA BRUNG 4x4:  The first part of the meeting will be strictly for 2009 USA-EAST participants in the class.  At about 8:30pm, the PRO STOCK DIESEL and PRO STREET GASOLINE owners will be invited into this meeting since they will be eligible to participate in 2010.

These meetings will be held in the building just behind the office at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.  Pullers and other interested persons should enter directly from Route 108 across from the High School.  Do NOT attempt to enter through the normal pit gate – it will not be open.  Please bring a jacket or sweatshirt as the building is not heated.  Soft drinks and snacks will be provided.
