BAKER TEAM TAKES 2.6 DIESEL CHAMPIONSHIP

Corrie and Caleb Baker of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania entered the 2011 season with high-hopes for Corrie to become the very first female driver to capture the street licensed diesel championship with USA-EAST.   But their plans took an interesting turn when it was revealed that Corrie was about to give birth to their first child.

The “Girl’s Night Out” Pulling Team started the 2011 season with Corrie behind the wheel of the Duramax powered 2004 Chevrolet, but by mid-August Caleb had to take over the driving duties.  By that time Corrie had amassed a sizeable point lead in the USA-EAST 2.6 Diesel 4x4 division.  Caleb added to that lead and eventually brought the championship home with a top five finish a Clearfield.  The night at Clearfield was special for the team as their new daughter, Laney, was on hand at her first truck pull to be a part of the ever-growing team.

Caleb is the owner and operator of Blackout Performance Diesel in Westmoreland County and works for Graham Dairy Supply as a technician.

Congratulations to Corrie and Caleb Baker (and Laney),

the 2011 champion withUSA-EAST in the 2.6 diesel division.
