WOOLEVER, GREIER TAKE KEYSTONE NATIONAL WINS

Art Woolever and Wayne Greier have something in common now!!  They both got their first USA-EAST wins of the 2011 season on the same evening at the Keystone State Nationals at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Brookville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 18th.  A huge throng of excited specators crammed the Fairgrounds on what was a record night for attendance at that facility.  “This was the largest crowd we have ever had”, said an ecstatic Dave Love from the Fair Board.

Woolever and his son, Tyler, have been strong supporters of USA-EAST pulling for many years with their “Just In Case” Limited pro Stock Tractor.  Now with new nostaligic sheet metal providing a throw back look to the tractor  the father and son team is poised to inflict some serious damage in the very popular division of pulling and their victory at Brookville might be just the beginning.  The photo shows Art Woolever and his grandson being greeted at trackside by a contingent of well-wishers representing Kelly Chrysler Jeep Dodge – the class sponsor at the Keystone State Nationals.

Ted Giovanelli and “Shazzam” from Fredericktown, Pennsylvania was second and in the process moved into a first place position in the 2011 USA-EAST point race.  Third went to the ever-improving Laine Jobe from Marion Center, PA with his “Patience of Jobe” Ford and Gary Rice from Farmdale, Ohio was fourth with the vastly improved “Milk Money” International.  Mark Bell had to settle for sixth on this night with “FireFox” after capturing the first two events of the season.

The ultra-powerful 4x4 trucks from the “Run What Ya Brung” Series also were on tap for the Jefferson County pull and produced an excellnt show for the fans with eight of the trucks making a full pull.  Wayne Greier from near Canfield, Ohio took the win with the Haisley-prepared “Resurrected Ram” Dodge in the thrilling pull-off as six trucks were all within ten feet of the top spot.  Mark Tatalovic from Guys Mills, Pennsylvania just missed his first win of the season with the Hemi-powered Dodge named “Mighty Mouse” and last year’s champion, Crystal Zedreck from Chicora, Pennsylvania, was third with the Chevrolet named “Little Irish II” and moved into the top spot in the USA-EAST point race.  Sam Tatalovic finish 4th with “Gone Wild”, another very powerful Cummins Dodge placing the Tatalovic Team with two in the top five on this night.

The pull at Jefferson County was sponsored by Kelly Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Brookville and by Car Mate Trailer of Leeper, Pennsylvania and was produced by Full Pull Productions, Inc. of Jamestown, Pennsylvania.

The next event for the Limited Pros/Super Farms is on Saturday, June 25th at the NE Ohio Championships at the Geauga County Fairgrounds in Burton, Ohio at 6:30pm.  The ‘Run What Ya Brung’ 4x4 Trucks now have a week off before they head to the Big Butler Fair in Propect, Pennsylvania on Friday, July 8 at 7:00pm.
