USA-EAST CLASSES TO PULL IN

THE 2010 BUNKER HILL ‘SHOOT OUT’

Full Pull Productions is happy to announce that the Goshen Center Ruritan Club of Beloit, Ohio has invited many of our pullers to compete at the Bunker Hill “Shoot Out” this season.  Chartered in 1961, the Ruritans have been hosting pulls for over 40 years. Held the second full weekend on both Friday and Saturday nights in June, July and August the pulling events offer entertainment for people of all ages from the tri-state area.  This event has grown over the past two years and has shown the ability to host some of the top names in regional tractor and truck pulling.  In 2010 the Bunker Hill “Shoot-Out will host three different pulling divisions with the USA-EAST Sanctioning body.

The first sanctioned class to pull at the Bunker Hill “Shoot-Out” will be the Modified 4x4 Trucks from the Run What Ya Brung Series.  These highly modified gasolineand diesel 4x4 trucks will participate on Friday, July 9, 2010.  The RWYB class will operate for points within the USA-EAST Series.  Local favorite, Wayne Greier, with his awesome Super Stock Diesel 4x4 named ‘Resurrected Ram’ was 2nd in the USA-EAST point race a year ago and figures to be one of the trucks to beat in 2010.

On Friday, August 13, two classes from the USA-EAST Series will pull at Bunker Hill.  The Limited Pro and Super Farm combo class will headline this session as a strong contingent of tractors will invade the “Shoot Out”.  Two very strong John Deere tractors from Columbiana County will be a part of this class as Julia Conny will drive “Mac Daddy” while the “Hillcrest Express” Super Farm will be handled by T.J. Gross.  Both finished at or near the top of the non-sanctioned class staged at this event in 2009.

Also on the program for Friday, August 13 will be the 2.6 Street Diesel 4x4 Trucks that will run using NADM rules for the first time in 2010.  These rules will enable the trucks to use front-mounted weights forthe first time and may change the complexion of the class significantly. Dale ‘Pops’ Bennett from nearby Salem, Ohio is the reigning champion with the USA-EAST Series and will definitely be trying for a repeat in 2010 with his Duramax Chevrolet named, “Social Security”.

The Goshen Center Ruritans are a non-profit organization that raise money through events such as the tractor pulls and other fund raisers to assist local students in the form of scholarships, local families in need and local safety forces.  The Ruritans are always accepting new members to their organization.

When travelling to the Bunker Hill “Shoot-Out”, both pullers and fans should use Interstate 80 from Youngstown and then Interstate 76 heading west toward Akron, Ohio.  At Exit #54 (Lake Milton/Newton Falls) take Ohio Route 534 south for just over ten miles.  Cross over US Route 224 to West Middletown Road and turn left to the Goshen Center Ruritan Club.

Full Pull Productions is the largest private promoter of sanctioned tractor and truck pulling in the eastern United States and is the parent company of the USA-EAST Sanctioning body.  Over the past twelve years the Goshen Center Ruritan club has worked side-by-side with Full Pull Productions on the production of the annual Canfield Open Tractor and Truck Pull at the Canfield Fair near Youngstown, Ohio.
