ENTERPRISE ENGINE PERFORMANCE TO SPONSOR DIESEL 4X4 TRUCK CLASSES AGAIN IN 2012
Enterprise Engine Performance of Thornville, Ohio will be back on board with the USA-EAST Pulling Series as a sponsor in 2012. This sponsorship will be directed at the very popular and ever-growing diesel 4x4 truck classes whose members are customers of EEP. Enterprise was started nearly 25 years ago by Dave and Lorretta Mitchell and is today a leader in innovation in the industry. The tragic and untimely death of Dave Mitchell on New Year’s Day of 2012 has placed his wife and the great team of technicians and mechanics in the unenviable position of having to carry on this year without their leader.
Pullers in the USA-EAST Open 2.6 Diesel 4x4 class will enjoy a special series of events this summer sponsored in part by Enterprise Engine Performance. This special series – modeled after the very popular ‘Global Truck Outfitters Series’ in southern Pennsylvania and Maryland – will take place at selected pulling venues in the state of Ohio. Special end-of-season prizes and awards will be presented to the top pullers in the Enterprise Engine Performance Series. No membership will be required in order to compete in this series of events.
One reason for the development of the Enterprise Engine Performance Series in Ohio has been the decision by the National Association of Diesel Motorsports to drop their popular Ohio mini-circuit for their 2.6 diesel trucks. This new series will give owners of open 2.6 diesel 4x4 trucks from the Ohio area an opportunity to ‘run for the points’ without having to travel great distances to the USA-EAST events in the four state area. |
