MERCER RACEWAY SPRING PULL GAINS SPONSOR
The ninth annual ‘All-American Spring Nationals’ pulling event at Mercer Raceway Park will have a new title sponsor in 2010. This year’s gigantic event on Saturday, May 29 will be sponsored for the first time by Fallsway Equipment Company with locations in both Akron (Tallmadge) and Youngstown, Ohio.

Over the past eight years the ‘All American Spring Nationals’ has emerged as the number one early season test for tractor, truck and semi truck pullers in the eastern United States. The pull offers one of the highest purses offered to USA-EAST pullers each season and is to Memorial Day week-end what the Great Canfield Fair is to Labor Day week-end.
This year’s event on Saturday, May 29th will feature the first event of the 2010 season for the awesome Big Rigs Semi Trucks featuring last year’s point champion, Fred Sanders and the “Silver Bullet” Mack from Ravenna, Ohio. The All-American “Smoker Series” will also open the season at Mercer with the “Nut Case” Pro Stock tractor of Kris Hoyt from Shickshinny, Pennsylvania poised to defend his regional crown. Back again this season to Mercer will be the very popular Pro Stock Diesel 4x4 Trucks with Dodge and Ford and Chevrolet all trying to get the best of the other brand. Two-time regional champion, John Lorenz from Dover, Ohio will be looking for the trifecta this season with his Cummins-powered Dodge named “Gray Wolf”.
And new to the Spring Nationals will be the all-new Pro Street Gasoline 4x4 Trucks with the ear splitting big block engines that come in at well over 500 cubic inches. Mike Barr from Port Matilda, Pennsylvania moves up to this new class with his big block Chevrolet named the “Sled Wrecker” after winning the open street championship a year ago. This new class for USA-EAST will bring some very interesting competition to Mercer Raceway on May 29th.
The “All-American Spring Nationals” is produced by Full Pull Productions of Jamestown, Pennsylvania and is sanctioned through USA-EAST Sled Pulling.
