DOUG MARTIN IS USA-EAST CHAMP IN ‘RWYB’

	The ‘Run What Ya Brung’ Four Wheel Drive Truck division was won in 2011 by the very powerful Chevrolet of Doug Martin from Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.  Martin’s truck named ‘HuffmansAuto.Com’ is sponsored by Huffmans Auto from Westmoreland County.

Martin was the runner-up in this very competitive division a year ago and moved up to grab the title in 2011.  A switch to dual wheels on the 650 cubic inch Chevrolet may have proven to be the difference this season.

“HuffmansAuto.Com” (name of truck) was the winner of five of the last seven pulling events to close out the season with the USA-EAST ‘Run What Ya Brung’ 4x4 class.  Martin’s winning streak began at the Clarion County Fair at the end of July and then continued with another big win at the Columbiana County Fair during the first week of August.  Martin pushed his bright orange Chevy into the winner’s circle at New Castle and Meadville in late August and then took the big win at the Canfield Fair in Canfield, Ohio.

When the final event of the season – at Bloomsburg, PA – was cancelled dueto the great northeastern flood, Martin had his championship for 2011.
