PRO STREET GASOLINE 4x4 TRUCKS USA-EAST Sled Pulling 2012 Season Rules FULL PULL PRODUCTIONS, INC. – JAMESTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA Adopted October 5th, 2011 The rules promulgated in these rules are intended as guidelines for the sport of Pro Street Gasoline 4x4 truck pulling. These rules have been adopted by Full Pull Productions, Inc. for the 2012 season. Nothing herein should be construed as a guarantee against injury or death to participants, crewmen, family members, bystanders or spectators. Each participant at a Full Pull Productions’ pulling event must assure that their equipment and replacement equipment throughout the season meets the requirements for this class.
CLASS REQUIREMENTS Super Tech: All trucks running for points must be “Super Teched” BEFORE the first event or they will not be ELIGIBLE to collect points UNTIL THEY HAVE COMPLETED THE PROCESS.
Weight:
Body/Chassis: TRUCK EXTERIOR MUST BE STOCK IN APPEARANCE. BODY AND FRAME MUST MATCH. NO MINI TRUCK BODY OR FRAMES (I.E. RANGER, DAKOTA, S-10).THE COMPLETE TRUCK BODY MUST HAVE FACTORY SHEET METAL AND FACTORY GLASS WINDOWS. THE CAB MUST HAVE O.E.M. FIREWALL AND O.E.M. FLOOR FOR SAFETY. BED FLOOR, INNER AND OUTER SKINS MUST BE OF O.E.M. OR O.E.M. REPLACEMENT MATERIAL. A TRUCK WITH NO BED FLOOR WILL BE ALLOWED AS LONG AS THERE IS 300 POUNDS OF WEIGHTS LOCATED BEHIND THE REAR AXLE - THESE WEIGHTS MUST BE VERIFIABLE. OTHER DESIGN MODIFICATIONS TO REDUCE WEIGHT ARE NOT PERMITTED. WOODEN FLATBEDS ARE PERMITTED AS LONG AS THEY ARE FACTORY BUILT OR HEAVIER THAN FACTORY BUILT. WOODEN FLATBEDS MUST BE PREAPPROVED BY THE USA-EAST TECH COMMITTEE PRIOR TO THE FIRST EVENT THE TRUCK PARTICIPATES IN AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO A WEIGHT HANDICAP. FIBERGLASS HOODS AND FIBERGLASS HOOD SCOOPS ARE PERMITTED. FIBERGLASS BODY PANELS ARE NOT PERMITTED UNLESS THEY ARE O.E.M FACTORY PARTS FOR THE MAKE AND MODEL OF THE TRUCK AND USED AS THE MANUFACTURER INTENDED.
Kill Switch: ALL TRUCKS MUST BE EQUIPPED WITH A KILL SWITCH PER USA-EAST GENERAL RULES.
Hitch: THE HITCH ATTACHMENT POINT TO THE TRUCK’S FRAME WILL BE BEHIND THE PUMPKIN COVER OF THE REAR END. SUPPORTS MAY BE USED TO THE REAR AXLE AND THEY MUST BE ATTACHED BEHIND THE CENTERLINE OF THE REAR END/AXLE. THE HITCH CAN BE NOT MORE THAN 33% OF ANGLE MEASURED PARALLEL TO THE GROUND. THE ANGLE ON THE ENTIRE HITCH MUST BE THE SAME. HITCH MOUNTING POINTS CAN NOT BE HIGHER THAN THE TOP OF THE FRAME RAILS. HITCH POINT MAY NOT BE MORE THAN 26" FROM GROUND. NO ANGLED, LEVER, PIVOT, AXIS OR OTHER TYPES OF ‘TRICK’ HITCHES ARE ALLOWED AND THE HITCH MUST BE STATIONARY IN ALL DIRECTIONS. IF THE HITCH CAN SLIDE IT MUST HAVE A BOLT THAT IS WELDED IN PLACE TO PROHIBIT ANY TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT. ANYTHING ATTACHING TO THE HITCH MUST BE FROM THE CENTERLINE OF THE REAR AXLE BACK, NOTHING IN FRONT OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE REAR AXLE. HITCH MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 40” MEASURED FROM THE CENTERLINE OF REAR AXLE OT HOOKING POINT. A TAB MUST BE WELDED TO CENTER OF THE REAR AXLE AS A REFERENCE POINT FOR MEASUREMENT OF THE HITCH. SHORTENING OF THE BED IN ORDER TO SHORTEN THE HOOK POINT IS NOT PERMITTED. EACH TRUCK DRIVER MUST SUPPLY A TWISTED CLEVIS. THE HOLE FOR HITCHING MUST ACCOMMODATE A MINIMUM OF 3.75 INCHES ACROSS. A TRUCK MAY COMPETE WITH A “REESE” OR BUMPER STYLE HITCH. NO OTHER TYPES OF HITCHES ARE PERMITTED.
FRONT HYDRAULIC BRAKE ARE MANDATORY DRIVELINE BRAKES ACCEPTED
