The STREET LICENSED GASOLINE 4x4 TRUCK class has undergone major revisions for 2010.  First of all the weight of the class has been raised to 6400 pounds, but front mounted weights are still not permitted in the class.  The ‘hot trucks’ that used to participate in this class have been moved up to another level leaving behind a class of ‘nearly stock’ gasoline 4x4 trucks.

For 2010 this class is designed as an ‘entry level’ pulling class.  It is primarily designed for the owner of a truck that is a ‘daily driver’.  Owners who have built trucks strictly for pulling will not be welcome in this almost stock class beginning in 2010.

In many cases this class will be operated as a ‘trophy run’ for local area pullers whowant to have a chance to compete and win in the sport.  Local Fairs and promoters will be urged to offer minimal monetary prize money to the class.

No memberships will be required in order to compete in this class.  All owners who are registering their truck will be required to provide a valid photo driver’s license as well as the registration papers for the truck and a copy of the current insurance documents.
